Amont the most popular ones, we can find Besakih Temple. This temple is located on the inclines of Bali’s largest volcano – Mount Agung, lies a collection of more than eighty temples that make up the country’s largest and most prominent temple complex. Also are important Ulun Danau, Tirta Empul,Tanah Lot temple or Pura  Uluwatu Temple...The list of the must-see temples in Bali can be longer, of course!

But we would really like to mention Pura Gunung Kawi Temple. These beautiful temples are some of the most fascinating in Bali. Gunung Kawi is an 11th-century temple and funerary complex in Tampaksiring and is spread across either side of the Pakerisan river. It comprises 10 rock-cut candi (shrines) that are carved into some 7-metre-high (23 ft) sheltered niches of the sheer cliff face. These funeral monuments are thought to be dedicated to King Anak Wungsu of the Udayana dynasty and his favourite queens. On the east side there are five temples that are dedicated, according to one theory, to King Udayana, his queen Mahendradatta, and their sons Airlangga, Anak Wungsu, and Marakata. The temples on the west side are dedicated, according to the same theory, to the king’s minor queens or concubines. What makes special this temple is the location and views. The views as you walk through ageless tiered rice fields, especially at sunrise, are as fine as any on Bali. Strongly recommended!

What are the most Popular Places to See Rice Paddies in Bali ?  The best Bali rice terraces offer outstanding landscapes that can fill entire memory cards with stunning snaps. One of Bali’s top examples is Jatiluwih, recognised by UNESCO in its world cultural landscapes list. Tegallalang is a smaller valley than Jatiluwih, but it’s very popular and more accessible. THE MOST SPECTACULAR BALI VOLCANOES HIKE

The best volcanoes of Indonesia are not located in Bali. But of course we can find and climb some challening volcanoes. Bali has two active volcanoes, Mount Agung and Mount Batur. The Mount Batur is the easiest Bali volcano hike and provides spectacular views of Lake Batur and the ocean. Nice experience. 

Mount Agung  is the Bali’s Highest Point. The trek usually starts at around 2.30 in the morning at the stairs of the temple.  After about three hours walking you will reach the summit and what would really surprise you is the color of the sky orange as the sun starts. It’s a coulour festival on the top of the sacred mountain.

And if you are looking for a less popuar volcano but not less impressive you should climb Mount  Batukaru! Mount Batukaru  is 2,275 meters above sea level and It is the second highest mountain in Bali after Mount Agung. As an off volcano, its landscape is the most unique rainforest mountain trek experience in Bali.  Its hard, so you need to be fit!

THE BEST BEACHES IN  BALI

Everybody wants to know  which are Bali’s more beautiful beaches... For us, one of the best place to enjoy the beach in Bali is Bukit Peninsula. Rocky cliffs, palm trees, white sand and stunning sunsets!

Northern Bali beaches are also nice. This area is famous for black sand beaches and good underwater world. So if you love diving or snorkelling it’s a good option! Candidasa is also very calm, quite and peaceful. Perfect to disconnect from the world! 

And of course, we can not forget Nusa Penida.Nusa Penida has become one of the most popular places to visit near Bali in recent years .
