2. The best waterfalls in Bali

Bali is blessed with amazing waterfalls. Cascading falls form the very backbone of Indonesia’s crown jewel! With so many to discover, you’ll want to find out which are the best waterfalls in Bali to visit before you start your island adventure. Most of the Bali waterfalls are dotted around the Ubud area and the north part of the island. So we recommend you Tukad Cepung Waterfall, Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfall, Banyumala Twin Waterfall or Sekumpuk, Nungnung or  Kanto Lampo waterfalls.

3. ´Water Temples´in Bali

Tirta Empul (“Holy Spring”) is an important sacred water temple for more than 1,000 years. The temple contains a warren of shrines, gates, courtyards, and purification pools where Balinese Hindus “baptize” themselves underneath a succession of waterspouts. Near Tirta Empul we find Gunung Kawi, one of the most beautiful temples in Bali.

Tanah Lot Temple, its popular by its stunning and unique offshore setting. It comprises an ancient Hindu shrine that sits on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves from the Indian Ocean. The sunsets are magical!

4. Besakih Temple, the Mother Temple in Bali

Besakih Temple is often referred to as Bali’s ’mother temple’ – a grand complex of at least 86 clan temples and shrines on the south-western slopes of Mount Agung. It is the most important, the largest and holiest temple of Balinese Hinduism.

5. East Bali Tour

This tour takes in the significant destinations of the sacred areas of the East Coast. 6. Jatiluwih Rice Terraces and Danu Bratan Temple 

Jatiluwih Rice Terraces are a magnificent UNESCO World Heritage-listed Site in North Bali. They’re the largest and most picturesque rice paddies in Bali. And Lake Bratan’s temple, called Pura Ulun Danu Bratan and also known as the Floating Temple, is one of the most mesmerizing temples in Bali. Do not miss it!

10. Uluwatu Temple and Bukit Peninsula

The famous cliff-hanging temple at Uluwatu is located in Bukit Peninsula. Also in Bukit we find  a number of Bali’s very best beaches including Balangan, and the top surfing spots on the island.  The two main towns with strong local communities on the Bukit are Pecatu and Ungasan.
